Halfway through another Olympic day and the frustrations are adding up. Not about who is winning what, but about how and the way certain individuals are portraying themselves after doing so.

Youd be happy to if you just won "Geeva's Barstool Of The Week"

Michael Phelps must be the most arrogant self righteous twat to ever pull on a pair of speedos. His conduct after todays 4 x100m victory was pathetic. Rather than winning with the grin and grace of Ian Thorpe he puts on a Lleyton Hewitt type performance. Michael Phelps you may win 8 gold medals but you will never win my respect. Good luck sleeping at night knowing a whole world of people hate you.

OLYMPIC JUDO

What is this shit? some sort of love fest? yeah its not Greco Roman but seriously grabbing each others sleeves for 5 minutes trying to throw each other is boring and pointless, my brother and I used to do this for hours on the Trampoline. Spectator sport? I think not. A Hungarian imported sleeve tugger fought on bravely for Australia right up until the point she choked on a couple of medal matches and finished 4th, out of the medals no surprises there.

WORLD WIDE MEDIA DURING THE OLYMPICS

Apparently the world has gone completely mad, Russia declares War on Georgia (who?) and no one seems to mind just as long as they arent taking steroids in the mens 105+ Weightlifting. The Georgia Russia thing was article number 5 for about 8 minutes on ninemsn.com, think it was about page 36 in the newspaper today. I thought it would be front page worthy? but when you think about it Stephanie Rice is going to sell plenty more papers.

The last few days have also seen the passing of a couple of big name celebrities Bernie Mac and Isaac Hayes but neither of these tragic events could beat the report on Italys chances in Fencing for the medias attention.
