Geevas Back
Okay, So Geeva hasnt blogged in a long time and the 3 regular fans he had are no doubt long gone.
Its funny, when I first started putting a couple of blogs togethor I thought there would always be 1000's of things to write about, how quickly ive learnt about writers block.
Numerous times over the past 2 months ive sat down, logged in and try as I might not been able to come up with anything.
Its no doubt happened to everyone at some stage, we have all gone to speak and nothing has come out, or worse the wrong thing.
As im writing this im listening to one of my favourite musicians Bruce Springsteen, its the Live in Barcelona DVD. Bruce is singing a song called Spirit In The Night, at one stage he sings the wrong lines, stops, looks into the crowd says "no", scratches his head for a moment, sings another line, stops starts to laugh says "no" before finally re starting and getting it right. Not one person in that crowd would leave thinking "damn Bruce screwed it", in fact they loved it because he didnt try to cover it.
Im reading Inside Little Britain at the moment and both Matt Lucas and David Walliams openly admit to stuffing up sketches live on stage, continually. Its makes the show a truly unique experience.
so re read my last years posts and you too can have a truly unique experience!
So starts a new year and Geeva is hoping to find plenty to write about, so if your up late and finding it hard to sleep, remember Geevasrant! aside from a bottle of scotch and a couple of restavit its the best way to spend your nights.
